All five of us were up early this morning to catch a 7am flight from Stuttgart to Italy 🇮🇹 . Two nights in Rome then a train down to Naples for three nights. It was Georgie's first time in the airplane cabin. Not all airlines allow it but Eurowings does. We have a special backpack that she can stay in and the airline says she has to stay under the seat in front. During the flight however we discreetly let her out for a while and nobody noticed. At the other end we caught the "Leonardo Express" train from Rome airport to the city downtown. Warm weather here - 29 degrees now at 3.30pm when I am writing this. We are due to have dinner with a DFAT family from the Embassy here in Rome. 🍕 or 🍝 probably!
