The selection of summer fruits in Germany is quite incredible. We've been feasting on all sorts of berries, stone fruit and melons. What's interesting is the price and availability of fruits is the opposite of Thailand. Berries and so on are dear in Thailand but reasonably priced here in Germany - whereas tropical fruits such as pineapple, mango and bananas are expensive here but not so in Thailand. I don't normally go for taking photos of food but here is this morning's breakfast (later topped with Quark - a creamy tangy delicious style of yoghurt).
