Stuttgart castle

I took this photo during my run this morning. It is the side view of the Stuttgart castle which is not far from our apartment. It is right in the centre of the city but the shops and other buildings are kept a good distance from it. It's not as impressive as Buckingham Palace but still quite a sight. It is said that it is one of the 'newer' castles built in Germany, finished in early 1800s. There is an interesting story behind it, about how the construction was ordered by a 16 year old Duke. I'll go into that later once we've had a chance to hopefully visit.
